The Light at the End of the Table
April 1, 2010 by Robin Plaskoff Horton
Designed by Paola Navone for Italian manufacturer EMU, this luminescent pouf, part of the Ivy line, is constructed of ironed metal sheet metal and fitted with a photovoltaic device that enables it to collect and store solar energy. At night it releases a glowing light through a five-LED strip on the metal top.
The soft and round-shaped armchair and sofa are available with a stuffed cushion of dark green camouflage fabric in stretch polyester. But you could toss a few of your own pillows and cushions on them and snuggle up comfortably.
