Autumn Faux Snow in Manhattan
November 23, 2010 by Robin Plaskoff Horton
It was 65 degrees in Manhattan yesterday. Imagine my surprise when I emerged from the subway at Madison Square Park to see snow all around me! Although it looked very real, I had descended upon the remnants of a movie set. The fall leaves stuck in the snow were a bit of a giveaway.
This little girl was enjoying the winter wonderland no matter where it came from.
And just so you can get an idea what sort of day it really was in New York City, check out this pretty terrace I had been on just an hour before my feet hit the “snow.”
It was indeed an interesting day in the city!

and ; ) the reason I wrote Garden Your City. Ahem…those pot really need saucers (note deck staining) and a tad of diversity (those pink geraniums are beautiful, can they all have homes inside once the frost hits)? Lovely nonetheless!
