Mobile Mulching: Gardening iPhone App
September 3, 2009 by Robin Plaskoff Horton
The Garden-to-Do iPhone app allows you to keep a handy list of all your gardening tasks in your pocket. Create a list of your garden’s to-do items using a simple user interface. Stroll around your garden, take a photo of a trouble spot, and tag it with a title: “mow, prune, clean, rake, transplant, harvest, mulch, etc.” View and sort your list of garden tasks by date/time in the order they were input, reverse the order, or organize by a priority that you set. Easily rearrange the items and save the new custom order. When you complete a garden task, remove the gardening item from the database with the press of a button. Keep your yard tasks organized and with you at all times.
The feature-rich iPhone app allows you to:
• Add new or modify existing garden tasks
• Take a photo of your task as a reminder, or use an existing photo from your photo album
• With one finger, drag to modify the priority of a garden to-do item
• Sort all your to-do items by either date or task priority
• With one touch, remove item from the list once the task is complete
$1.99 at iTunes Store

If anyone is interested in more gardening apps, my company has just completed an exciting new one called Gardening Toolkit. There’s loads of plant information, photos, advice and and it even tells you when to plant things in your area. We’re very proud of it!
Search for ‘Gardening Toolkit’ at the App Store.
