Concrete Aglow in the Urban Garden

It’s hard as a rock, durable, frost, salt, fire, and UV resistant yet transparent enough for virtually all light, shadows and even colors to transmit through it.
Transparent concrete, made by Luccon, consists of a top layer of concrete block embedded with webbed fiber optic cables, resulting in a stone that is comparably strong as well as transparent.
The fine-grain concrete and translucent fabric is layer-cast in prefabricated molds. Due to the relatively low portion of fabric, the solidity and consistency of translucent concrete is equivalent to high-strength concretes.
It’s impermeable, yet the optical fibers allow virtually all light to appear through the concrete – even through thick walls. Just imagine the outdoor applications and possibilities for the urban garden.

I wonder about pond applications – or lighting up the pond in some way.
A black fiberglass rectangular fish pond is being installed on a concrete patio in a condo community next week, would love to see THIS tried!
