Los Angeles Fun Garden Spot
October 14, 2010 by Robin Plaskoff Horton
On my last visit to Los Angeles, I slammed on the brakes as I was just about to pass Urban Garden Paradise: Rolling Greens on Beverly Blvd. Not great driving, but I was so thrilled not to miss this fantastic nursery and garden shop.
I could have spent hours there. The plants alone are worth the trip and the myriad of great garden and home decor products and accessories will get your creative juices flowing.
Loved these wire obelisks and the tabletop items made me want to throw a dinner party that very night.
Bought these. Couldn’t resist.

Love you post and pictures, Yes, LA is a wonderful place to visit gardens. Few month back @bwisegardens here from back East and I took a road trip down Santa Monica Blvd hit Rodeo Drive I drove as Barbara snapped pictures. Had all the tourist thinking we had a star sighting…Tweeted up at the Getty with @anarchygarden and @LifeOnTheBalcony was a wonderful plant filled day

What a treasure trove of wonderful writers and bloggers! I can’t wait to explore their offerings since they resonate with my blog’s exploration of the Power of Connection and especially with one of the four focus areas: Connection with Nature. It’s amazing that there are so many people out there to help us connect with Nature, whether we live in the city or the country!

Good thing you didn’t go to the Culver City location, I think it’s their biggest, and they have way more plants and cool garden-y things.
