Off the Wall Gardening
October 22, 2010 by Robin Plaskoff Horton
Although I am intrigued by these little wall-mounted planters, by UK design firm, Thelermont Hupton, I’m not sure how they drain. My email inquiry to the designers bounced back, so I assume from the photo that they don’t mount flush, allowing for a bit of drainage. That said, I would suggest hanging them in a place where dripping water won’t damage the wall…
“With invisible fixings.” state the designers, “these simple pots let your plants nestle on the wall as you create vertical interior gardens around your home.” I like it, but watch out for your paint finish or hang them outside.
