Suspended Vertical Gardens
November 8, 2010 by Robin Plaskoff Horton
Hanging from adjustable cables, the Etcetera vertical garden system from French company, La Corbeille, forms a planted curtain where you can grow your own edibles or ornamentals while also creating privacy screening indoors or out. The modular use of individual terra cotta pots makes it simple to maintain. It’s constructed of lightweight brushed aluminum bars holding a total of nine containers in three rows of three pots each. Designed by Vincent Vandenbrouck.
I became intrigued with La Corbeille when I saw their “Bulles” at last year’s Maison et Object design fair in Paris:
The Bulles are concrete tiles that can be arranged in numerous configurations for both interior and exterior use. Decorative or functional, they are made of 100% mineral concrete and can be installed just like traditional tile. I particularly like the little bird feeder tile! Designed by Nathalie & Cyril Daniel.

Definitely would be interested in this unit in multiples to cover several windows. Great for apt dwellers with narrow window ledges. Let us all know if you will be selling it!
