Sit Around a Flower Vase
January 20, 2013 by Robin Plaskoff Horton
Here’s a piece of fantasy multi-tasking furniture. With its central blown glass vase, designer Roberto Lazzeroni’s Large Flower bench for Ceccotti Collezione offers seating and a way to display flowers.
I love how the bench does double duty circling the vase’s upright support. Constructed of solid rich American Cherrywood or American Walnut, the round upholstered bench stands on elegant brass tipped feet.
Unless you have a really good size area for it, the piece would probably be more at home in commercial setting like a lounge or reception area.

I usually love the designs you feature but this one seems so unpractical. If confronted with sitting on this chair, I would be anxious about leaning back into the vase.

You will always have a great experience with flowers whether you sit around it or they occupy your landscape. Most pleasing.
Liked your blog. Thank you.
