What began as a child’s game between 12-year-old Xavier Mañosa and his father, has today emerged as the Pussel, a multi-functional design that is at once an indoor-outdoor lantern, flower vase, and votive candle holder.

The modular ceramic and glass Pussel encourages the same playfulness that the ceramicist father and son design team experienced as children.

How you stack and arrange the multi-hued pieces determines whether Pussel functions as a lantern, flower vase, or votive candle holder.

Designed in Berlin and made in Barcelona for Kettal, the result is modern, but the traditional detailing and finishing is entirely ageless.
