Sometimes our Facebook page followers just love a post so much, it goes viral and the sharing just continues. Check it out–this post featuring photographer Simon Metz’s Italian rooftop garden photo, above, reached 996,352 people, received 79,637 likes, comments, and shares, and 70,629 people clicked on the post:

Anyway, we love our social media community. Facebook in particular gives us the chance to learn from our followers, exchange ideas and information with them, and sometimes share a good laugh. An open dialogue is most important to us, even if that means a few disagreements. And sometimes, we just like to inspire.

It’s hard to believe that fall is already here, and soon the Facebook world will be dominated by holiday tablesettings, sparkling snow drifts, wreaths, designer menorahs, mulled wine and latke recipes. For our friends “down under,” the opposite is true. They are just getting started posting verdant scenes of edible gardens and idyllic afternoons spent outdoors.
