The event attracts leading garden designers from around the world who come to display cutting-edge designs, new plants, and a wide variety of ideas which attendees can take home with them to try in their own gardens. The main attraction at the show is the Great Pavilion, a massive undercover space that covers close to three acres, enough room to park 500 London busesWithin the Pavilion visitors can check out amazing displays and a huge variety of flowers.

Whether you’re an experienced gardener or a fledgling green thumb, it’s always useful to see the latest outdoor design trends and learn things like the best options for affordable natural lawn care Visitors to the Chelsea Flower Show throng to see designers from across the globe set up their gardens as they compete for medals–in particular, Best in Show, the most coveted award at the Chelsea Flower Show.

If you ever plan a trip to Singapore, try to make it in July so you can attend the popular Singapore Garden Festival. Running for nine days, the festival gets bigger every year. It’s doubling in size for the 2016 event, when it will spread across 9.7 hectares, a size roughly equivalent to ten football fields. Attend this show and you will get to see a host of tropical horticulture, garden designs, and breathtaking floral artistry. The festival is held at the award-winning Gardens by the Bay, a huge nature park on reclaimed land with three waterfront gardens in the central part of the city. The event is perfect for everyone from families and hobbyists, to the most serious gardeners and designers looking for new ideas and inspiration. There’s even a Balcony Gardens display for people who want to learn how to transform their small outdoor spaces into a peaceful urban garden retreat.

Another English event not to miss, the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show is today the largest annual gardening show in the world (the honor was previously held by the Chelsea show.) Also organized by the Royal Horticultural Society, the Hampton Court Palace festival first started in the early 1990s and is now held annually in early July along both sides of the Long Water at the famous palace in Surrey. If you attend the event you can enjoy browsing plant pavilions, the Rose Marquee, the Show Gardens, and the Floral Marquee while also checking out a variety of demonstrations, talks, and exhibits. Children and adults alike will be on awe at the sight of thousands of free-flying butterflies from Indonesia and South America held within the specially designed Butterfly Dome. The Hampton Court Show also offers lots of plants available for purchase.
