A Carrot by Any Other Name
September 7, 2010 by Robin Plaskoff Horton
“I’ve grown carrots for about ten years and there is particularly stoney ground where we live, so the veggies sometimes tend to fork,” explained retired engineer, Clive Williams from Henley-on-Thames, England, whose garden produced the space ranger carrot he pulled from the ground. “However, we’ve never seen anything like this, I couldn’t get over how much it looked like Buzz.”
In the movie, Toy Story, when the fictional character, Buzz Lightyear, is inserted into his display carton, he goes into a “hypersleep” and does not realize that he is a toy, but believes he is the real Buzz Lightyear.
I wonder if this carrot, shaped liked Buzz, knows it’s a vegetable?

It is always god to start your day off with a chuckle! Reminds me also of mandrake, the roots also look like human figures, common with that plant but unusual with carrots. Thanks for sharing!Publisher,familyfirepit.com

I would love to see a new type of vegetable gardening art spring from this.
Imagine a blog about growing vegetables to look like sculptures of other things.
